Originally from Chicago, I lived abroad and worked for the United Nations, Coca-Cola, and retired from UCLA. I’ve long been an active member of the LGBTQ+ community. I currently volunteer for a Golden Retriever rescue where I fostered and adopted my best buddies, Teddy and Sarge.

I recently completed a collection of short stories called The Long and the Short of It.

In 2013 I lived for several months on the southern coast of Spain while writing my second novel, The Guestbook at Asilomar, which I'm happy to announce has won several awards. My previously published book, Falling Forward-A Novel, is inspired by true events.
